Otto Schmalz Memorial Scholarship 2019
The Otto R Schmalz Memorial Scholarship is an annual Education and Study Award for Alpine Health staff members. It has been established to commemorate the great contribution of Mr Otto Schmalz to Alpine Health and his commitment to welfare and development of Alpine Health staff.
Each year the Otto R Schmalz Memorial Scholarship provides successful applicants with a cash award equivalent in value to the cost of a full year HECS fees of a course of study at a recognised Australian University. The proposals must be relevant to the services provided by Alpine Health and/or its future plans and development.
This year's scholarship has been awarded to Nicole Marr-Jones. Nicole is a dedicated and passionate support worker for alpine@home and is currently undertaking her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to enable her to become a trainer / educator in home care.
