Cameron Oxley, Chair of the Alpine Health Board of Directors, has been reappointed as Board Chair following the July 2024 Board Meeting held at Alpine Health in Myrtleford. Concurrently, the organization also bid farewell to Nick Shaw, who has resigned from his role as CEO after 16 years with Alpine Health.
Nick Shaw will take up the position of Chief Strategy and Performance at Murray PHN in September. Shaw has been pivotal in steering Alpine Health's strategic direction and operational achievements over the past four years, building upon a twelve-year tenure as Corporate Services Manager.
Alpine Health has appointed Rhys Gloury, Executive Director of Clinical Services, as interim CEO to oversee operations during the transition period, from the 2 September 2024.
Cameron Oxley expressed appreciation for Nick Shaw’s significant contributions: "Nick has been instrumental in guiding Alpine Health through many challenges and achievements. Throughout, he has maintained a laser-like focus on serving the community and improving health services for our community. We thank him for his strong leadership and wish him the greatest success in his new role."
Reflecting on his time at Alpine Health, Nick Shaw remarked, "It has been a great privilege to lead this business and its people. I am grateful for the support and friendship I have received throughout my time here and leave with wonderful memories."
Alpine Health extends its very best wishes to Nick as he embarks upon a new chapter, and looks forward to building on his legacy under our very talented leadership team.
