About Us

Alpine Health is a Multi-Purpose Service with three sites in the Alpine Shire towns of Bright, Mount Beauty and Myrtleford.

Alpine Health provides integrated Acute Health, Community Health and Community and Aged Residential Services for residents and visitors of the Alpine Shire.

History

The Alpine Health Multi-Purpose Service was approved by the State Minister for Health and Aged Care Services and was established on 1 November 1996.
Vision

The mission of Alpine Health is to improve the health and well-being of people within the Alpine Shire.
Board of Directors

Alpine Health is governed by a Board of Directors, who are selected from nominations within our community, and appointed by the Victorian Minister for Health.
Executive Team

The Executive Team at Alpine Health have responsibility for managing the strategic direction and ensure that key business objectives are met.
Partnering with Consumers

Alpine Health is committed to engaging the community through our Community and Health Advisory Groups (CHAG's) to plan and deliver the best health outcomes for the Alpine Shire region.
Health Service Planning

The Health Service Plan is a high level, strategic document that tells the story of what needs to be done in the next five years and why. The Service Plan aligns health service delivery with community needs and provides the evidence of community need backed up by research and consultation. It is also important for ensuring services are aligned with State and Commonwealth health priorities.
